Hi Friends!  Today is Friday, April 9, 2020.  It has been so nice to see some of you on at Zoom meetings. The teachers are very proud of the work that you and your families are doing together!  Keep up the good work!  If you and your families are looking for something to do, why not a little Readers' Theater! You could dress up as story characters andd act out the story like a play. If your families' email me at [email protected]  I will be happy to make up a script for you and email it to you! Have a great day! 😘

Hi Friends!Today is Wednesday, April 8, 2020. I miss you! I hope that you are continuing to read your new books!😀  I have added some new websites for you and your family. I hope you enjoy them. Have a great night!😘

Hi Friends! Today is Tuesday, April 7, 2020. I hope that all of you are doing well and I hope that you have been able to read some books! While you're reading the book, think about how the characters look and how they are feeling. Tell someone else what you are thinking. Remember to use lots of describing words, not just happy and nice.  For example, in the Three Little pigs, the pigs are pink, they are chunky and they are feeling very frightened by the big, scary wolf. I think the pig who built the brick house is the smartest because the wolf can't blow it down!  Good luck, show your parents how smart you are!  I miss you! 😘

Hi Friends! Today is Friday, April 3, 2020. Tonight is sit on the porch night in Middle Township and there will be small parades through some of your neighborhoods.  I hope you get to see them!  Next time you read a book, think and talk about a problem in the story if there is one. Can you predict what might happen to fix the problem before you read the last page? Good luck! And have a great weekend! I miss you more each day!😘

To my students; Today on March 23, 2020-I miss all of you very much! I hope you are reading your books. Why don't you start a writing journal and write about the stories that you have read so far. Don't forget to draw a picture to go with it! Then have your parents take a picture of each page and email it to me. Then I can write back to you! 😘

Hi Friends! Today is Wednesday, March 25, 2020. I am still missing you! I went to Miss Venturini's Zoom meeting today and got to see Ashley and Chris.  I saw lots of other friends there too!  If your class has a Zoom meeting, I will try to be there so that I can see you!  If you are reading your books, why not try to look for words with consonant blends in them, like SNake, BLack or TRuck? Don't forget about the digraphs too, like SHovel, CHair.  I miss you!😘

Hi Friends!  Today is Thursday, March 26, 2020.  I hope everyone is doing well!  Please read any book today! Talk to your family about the characters in your story. Are they nice?
