Supplies:

 

Your child will need the following supplies:   1 marble composition book, 1 three-subject notebook (wide-ruled if possible), sharpened number 2 pencils with erasers (please do not send pop-a-point or mechanical pencils as these tend to be a distraction), markers (thicker markers work best), 2 dry erase markers, an old sock to be used as an eraser, colored pencils, a pencil sharpener with a secure part for pencil shavings, 2 glue sticks, a soft pencil pouch, scissors and headphones for a Chrome Book.  In addition, your child will need a small container with a secure top (such as a Gladware container) with 20 pennies, 15 nickels, 15 dimes, and 6 quarters. These coins will be used for math and will need to be left in school for the duration of the school year.   Please label all items with your child’s name.

 

Your child will also need supplies at home:

*Sharpened pencils

*Crayons, markers, and colored pencils

*a pen

*a glue stick

*scissors

*the coins mentioned above

*a regular area to work (such as a table or desk) 

 

 

Lunch:

 

If your child is buying lunch or milk and does not have an account with the cafeteria, please send the money in an envelope or wallet with your child’s name labeled on it.

 

 

 

Snack:

 

We will have snack time every afternoon.  Please send a nutritious snack (fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cereal, cheese, crackers, etc.) for your child to eat at this time.  Please keep in mind that it is a working snack, so snacks that are easy to eat work best.  Snacks containing peanuts or tree nuts are not permitted in the classroom.  Your child should bring a water bottle daily.
