The Music Den has gone paperless, so please go to HERE to their website to rent your child’s instrument.

I highly recommend renting for 10 months instead of 5.  I rarely have a student decide to not play for the whole year and the 10 month rental turns out to be cheaper.  Please note that the lesson book is mandatory; we will use it at every lesson and will be your child’s to keep, so don’t forget to add it to your total.  I strongly recommend buying the folding music stand, as it promotes proper practicing habits at home. If your child has chosen clarinet or alto saxophone, I also suggest buying the extra reeds, as your child will use them throughout the year.  If your child has chosen a violin or viola, I highly recommend the shoulder rest. Be sure to actually read the Rental Terms and Conditions.

If you already own an instrument, please let me know.  You are still required to get the lesson book, which can be ordered online, through the Music Den, but also other places such as Amazon.  For Band instruments, (flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, baritone, trombone, percussion) we use the book Tradition of Excellence, book 1, for your specific instrument.  The orchestra instruments (violin, viola, cello), use the book String Basics, book 1, for your specific instrument.
