Dear Families,

I wanted to let you know our plan for instruction for the coming weeks.  Activities have been put on my website for you to use.  The activities in the packets, which are attached, are also listed on my website.  My website can be accessed by going to Elementary #1’s home page, clicking the staff tab and then staff directory.  Assignments and news can be found under the “Home Instruction in case of School Closing” tab. This page will also refer you to other resource tabs on my website. I will be updating the website on a daily basis and contacting you throughout the weeks by way of “Remind” or email. News from Ms. Fithian’s Classroom – March 13, 2020

 

Welcome March! Welcome Spring and warmer weather!  We have started to explore the topic of insects.  Over the next several weeks, we will talk about things we already know about insects and ask questions about what we want to know.  We will talk about life cycles and watch insects go through those life cycles.

In our small groups we have been drawing insects and working on math skills such as identifying numbers, counting, measuring and graphing.
