Course Objectives: World History

 

This course will enable students to study history, geography and economics from 1400 C.E. to the present day. The new conditions created by the scientific and technological revolutions will be an area of interest. Attention will be given to the social and political changes that came about as a result. Important forces, people and events of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries will be emphasized along with their connections to contemporary issues.

 

Student Expectations:

Students are expected to come to class prepared with required materials and completed assignments. Assignments will include reading, writing, critical thinking, current events, research, DBQ's and special projects.

Come to class on time and prepared and in uniform and wearing masks

 Absolutely NO cellphones and headphones!
 
If you miss work due to school activity, YOU are responsible for the missed work.
 
Be respectful and polite.
