Colors                                     Consequences

Green                                     Great Day

Yellow                                    Lose half of play time

Orange                                   No play time

Red                                        One of the following consequences:
                                               Note home, phone call, or parent meeting
                                               and sent out of class.

*Each child is given a verbal warning before they have to turn their first card.

Rewards:
If your child stays on green the whole day he/she will receive what I call "Mrs. Mazur's Dollar".  Your child will also receive a "Mrs. Mazur Dollar" for all homework that is returned and completed the next day.

On every Friday, your child will have the opportunity to buy something from my treasure chest box depending on how much money he/she has earned that week.  I have a $10.00, $20.00 and $30.00 treasure chest box.  At this time, your child will have the option to make a purchase or wait until they have enough to buy from another treasure chest.

This system, Go for Green, not only helps your child stay in control throughout the day but also teaches them the value of money.
