Schedule Information
Math and Science classes this year are each 60 minutes long, down from 80 minutes last year. This means students will have a period (40 mins) and a half (20 mins) of math. For example, I have one math class for period 1 and half of period 2, then another class for the other half of period 2 and period 3. So over 3 periods, I teach two math classes. Students will have math and science back to back to account for this half period. Ignore the A/B day description on the schedule. Students will have a period and a half of math, and a period and a half of science every day.
Virtual Schedule Information: Every period is 40 minutes in person is cut to 30 minutes virtually. Remember math is a period and a half. So virtually, math will meet for a 30 minute period, then half of the next period, or 15 minutes. During remote learning, math will virtually meet for roughly 45 minutes. The virtual meetings will be utilizing Google Meet. Students can join Google Meet right from their Google Classroom.
