Health and Physical Education Policies and Procedures
- Obey all rules of the physical education instructor.
- No food, gum or candy are to be brought into the gymnasium or physical education class.
- We suggest no jewelry or money be brought to class if possible.
- Inappropriate behavior or ridicule will not be permitted.
Footwear
- Students must wear athletic sneakers during physical education class.
- Footwear must be securely tied or velcroed.
- Open-toed shoes, boots, slides, sandals, crocs, and dress shoes are not recommended for safety reasons.
- Being properly dressed will ensure your child’s safety.
Medical/Excuses
- Students will be excused from participating in physical education class with a written excuse signed by a parent/guardian or medical provider.
Anyone unable to take physical education for multiple days must have a doctor’s excuse stating why and how long this excuse will last.
