GRAFF GUIDELINES

 

   Rule #1    Pay attention and sit up straight!

 

   Rule #2    Raise your hand for a question or answer. 

 

   Rule #3    Be courteous in asking and receiving – say please/thank you!

 

   Rule #4    Place personal items beneath desk and chair for safety.

 

   Rule #5    Door is to be opened only by teacher, for safety reasons.

 

   Rule #6    Prepare for class with a:  

 

              1  charged laptop  2  notebook  3  black or blue pen or pencil

 

   Rule #7    No laptop or phone?  Uncharged laptop or phone?

 

              Complete assignment on paper. 

 

   Rule #8    No black or blue pen?  No pencil?  

 

              Borrow from a student before class begins.

 

   Rule #9    Upon entering class:

 

                 1 Place all electronics inside pouch and lock it

 

                 2 Place locked pouch in book bag and place beneath desk

 

                 3 Begin assignment         

 

   Rule #10   Follow Golden Rule as well as school rules, including no food,

 

              no handing out of food, and no electronics 

 

   Rule #11   All work must be submitted by end of class, complete or not. 

 

   Rule #12   No interrupting and no talking during INDIVIDUAL work.

 

   Rule #13   Absent?  Missing work will be provided upon return.

 

   Rule #14   Consequences:

 

                Detention: Presence of food / Abusing Smartpass

 

                Zero:      Cheating / Using Electronics

 

                Removal:   Disrupting class 

 

   Rule #15   No breaks in 1st 5 minutes or last 5 minutes of class.

 

              Electronics remain in class for breaks.

 

   Rule #16   The bell is not for students; the teacher will dismiss you.

 

   Rule #17   Group work

 

              Stay on task                         Follow class rules

 

              Collaborate ONLY with YOUR group     Tell instructor when done
