Study: PUMPKINS

 We are learning that pumkins grow on vines. Much different then our Apples. We will explore the inside and outside of a pumpkin. Pumpkins come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. we can count pumpkin seeds to practice numbers and use our senses to see, touch, and smell pumpkins. We can compare heavy and light pumpkins. Pumpkins are part of fall and can be used for cooking and decorating.

 Reminder 

Update phone#, address and email a.s.a.p and 

   Provide a small blanket, change of clothing including (shirt, socks, underwear, pants weather apropriate).

   Keep folders in bookbags and review them daily. Please keep Book bags free of clutter. 

ID Bring ID daily no execptions as they will be checked.

**PARENT TIPS**  

  1. Talk about feelings with your children and build empathy.
  2. Talk about emotions so it's easier to recognize them ex: ("I bet you were disappointed?") this may help children become more sensitive to others' emotions as well as becoming more comfortable with expressing their own.
  3. Provide opportunities to write, read, and learn new things.
