Students in grades 1-6 have completed Physical Fitness testing.  The test items include: the Pacer test for cardiovascular fitness, the sit & reach and shoulder stretch tests for flexibility, the flexed arm hang, trunk lift & curl up tests for muscular strength and endurance, and the body mass index calculated using height and weight to measure obesity. Students & parents will receive FITNESSGRAM, a computerized report about their individual fitness levels, in their final report card.  Students in grades 3-6 will entering their own scores in the computer lab & printing reports to reflect on & to set personal fitness goals.
