My name is Ms.Patricia Polito. I am proud to welcome
each student and family to the Greenville Park Leadership Academy Family where the vision of Greenville Park Leadership Academy is to ensure students who enter leave with the skills and knowledge needed to attend high school without remediation.
I have been teaching since the year 2000 and continue to love my career in teaching and progressing students. I am here to work closely with our students and families to ensure instructional growth and positive school experiences for my students. I am honored to have served families at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels since beginning my career in education.
I am a high school alumnus of Independence High School's Class of 1985 in the
Tangipahoa Parish School System! I am also a Class of 2000 alumnus of
Southeastern Lousiana University where I obtained a baccalaureate degree in Behavioral Science along with a minor in Biological Science.
I advanced my education by attending The University of West Florida's Emerald Coast Campus in Pensacola Florida where I obtain a teaching certification in Early Childhood Education and obtained a Florida Reading Endorsement. Currently, I teach ELA/Reading on the GPLA campus and am entering into my fifth year as a Tornado Teacher! GPLA is truly my home away from home and I continue to meet many great students and families! My adult children also serve alongside me in our school community! I am very proud to be a part of a common journey!
To add, I have obtained coursework in Educational Leadership and hold a Director's licensing credential for Daycares and Early Learning Centers owning an early education business.
