In the beginning of the year, during our civics lessons, the children and I will discuss the importance of rules and laws and what it means to be a good citizen. The children will help write our list of four classroom rules themselves. We then agree on ascending consequences if these rules are not followed after three reminders.
Rules
1.
Consequences
1. A letter will be written to either the teacher or the injured party.
2. Student will be sent to Ms. Blake, the school councelor.
3. A call or note will be sent home.
4. Student will be sent to Dr. S, the principal.
Please discuss these rules and consequences with your children and become familiar with them. Your support is greatly appreciated by the reinforcement at home.
