Homework Policy

 

1.  All homework assignments are due the next day unless specifically stated.

 

2.  If a homework assignment is not completed the next day, it becomes a zero.  The homework assignment must be turned in ASAP.  When the assignment is turned in, the zero becomes a 1.  If an assignment is never turned in, it remains a zero.  Three zeros at the end of the marking period will drop your final grade by a half a letter grade.

Ex.  B would become a B-

 

3.  All homework should be done neatly and carefully; take pride in your work!

 

4.  All assignments, and all questions, must be attempted.  This means a written attempt!

 

5.  Homework should be completed in blue pen, black pen, or pencil, unless specifically stated in the directions.

 

6.  There is no need to recopy the question, unless specifically stated in the directions.

 

7.  Homework questions should be answered in full sentences unless the directions say otherwise.

 

8.  Please use white, lined, notebook paper (when appropriate).

 

9.  If you are absent from class, you have the total number of days you were absent to make up the assignment.  Ex.  Absent 2 days from class, you have 2 days to turn the assignment in for credit before it becomes a zero.
