Homework:

In a typical week, students will have the following assignments:

 

Math: A practice sheet will be sent home Monday-Thursday to reinforce concepts learned in the daily lessons.  There generally will be no math practice sheet the night after students have taken a test.

 

Reading: Students should read for at least 15 minutes per night Monday-Thursday.  There are lots of ways to practice reading!

• Read silently
• Practice fluency by reading aloud to someone (a stuffed animal or pet would work too!)
• Read with an adult/friend/sibling (I read a page, you read a page) 

Switch it up and make it fun!

 

Students may also have Science and Social Studies homework occasionally.

 

Friday: No homework!

 

All homework is written in student assignment pads each day.  Please check your child's assignment pad and sign it each night.
