Welcome To Field Street School!
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
I am glad to be such an important part of your child's education and look forward to working with you and your child this year. We will be adding on to the skills your child learned in first and second grade, as well as learning many new skills. I sincerely feel that parent involvement is important in providing your child with the best possible education. Let's work together to create an enjoyable learning experience, increase your child's knowledge base, and make 3rd grade a year of success! Homework
Each student will have a homework folder. One side of the folder is labeled "Keep at Home" this side will contain papers and fliers for you to keep at home. The other side is labeled "Return to School" and will contain homework assignments, important papers to be signed, and other items that need to be returned to school the next day. Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday nights. It will be sent home and collected daily. A reading log will also be sent home for you to record your student's daily reading which will be part of their Language Arts grade.
