Academic Background...
I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. After graduation, I worked for the NJ Department of Agriculture, in the Plant Laboratory. There, I helped test plants for disease using methods of PCR testing and Liquid Chromatography. In addition, we worked with NJ farmers and the state allowing for the growth of local produce sales and helping the Jersey Fresh programs. While working in the lab, I recieved my Master's degree in Secondary Education from the College of New Jersey.
My student teaching experiences include working at Trenton Central High School and New Egypt High School, where I was able to work with admirable teachers and spirited students that reinforced my love for teaching. I was hired here at Bridgewater Raritan Regional High School in 2008. Since then I have taught Academic Biology, Marine Biology and Issues in Science, and have loved every minute of it!! In addition, I have taught biology at Raritan Valley Community College for the past 6 years.
