   Dear Parent(s) and Collegues, 

 

               Welcome to my website. I hope this year brings positive learning opportunities and patience to deal with the many changes our world presents to us today .

This is my 22nd year being a Early Childhood teacher here in the W.N.Y. school district. In 2014, I was chosen to be West New York's E.C.E., Teacher of the Year recipient in the state of New Jersey.  I'm very proud, blessed, and honored for receiving this special award. I love my job and try to find new and exciting ways to teach concepts and make room for positive changes within the learning enviornment.

I like to be as creative as possible when coming up with lessons/themes/studies to meet the expectations for high quality NJ state standards. I challenge my students everyday in order for them to learn to the best of their abilities in all Kindergarten skills and subject areas. These include: Social and Emotional skills, Fine motor skills, Creative Arts , Literacy, Math,  Science/Technology & Social Studies. 

    This year, our class consists of  5 boys and 6 girls. My Google classroom also accesses all my students to participate in an online virtual learning experience if and when we need to go remote. My teaching para professional is Ms Sonia Abraham who speaks both English and Spanish.  I look forward to a new and exciting school year.
