Prerequisite: Algebra I
This course takes you through the steps of the accounting cycle for both a service and merchandising business. You will learn how to analyze and record business transactions in various journals and to prepare and interpret financial statements for single proprietorships, partnerships and corporations. You will become familiar with the language of business and be introduced to career opportunities in accounting. Computers will be used extensively throughout the year.
