Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Public School # 5! We hope your summer was filled with fun, rest, and special memories with family and friends. As we begin this exciting new chapter, we are thrilled to have our students back in the classrooms—ready to grow, explore, and learn together.

 

This year, we are focusing on three important themes:

 

Responsibility, Fun, and Learning.

 

 

🔷 Responsibility
One of our goals this year is to help students build strong habits of responsibility—both in and out of the classroom. Whether it's remembering to bring their homework, helping a friend, or taking care of their classroom materials, students will be encouraged to take ownership of their actions and choices. We believe that building responsibility early lays the foundation for future success.

 

🎉 Fun
Learning should be joyful! We have so many fun activities planned this year—from spirit days and class celebrations to creative art projects, hands-on science experiments and small group learning. Our goal is to make school a place where students feel excited to come each day.

 

📚 Learning
Of course, we are most excited about all the learning ahead. Our teachers have been busy preparing lessons that will challenge, inspire, and support every student. Whether we’re diving into books, solving math puzzles, or exploring new ideas, we are committed to helping each child grow both academically and socially.
