Homework Policy

 

Homework is assigned Monday through Friday.  Please note that homework is NEVER given on material that has not been taught in class. It is practice and reinforcement of the skills learned that day. Students are given ample time to write homework down and to organize all books needed for that day. I also take the time to repeatedly go over the books needed for homework. If a student forgets to bring a notebook home, the work may get done on paper. Students are not allowed back in the building if books have been forgotten. You may check the assigned homework for the day online at 3pm. 

Homework Notices will be given if an assignment is not done or is incomplete. The student must then not only complete the missed homework, but also that night's homework. The signed homework notice must be returned the next day along with the missing assignment. Your child will loose 2 points from the final grade for every missing homework. 

Please note that homework, class participation, test grades, and class work are incorporated into a final grade.
