        In less than ten minutes, you can learn how to help your children to perform better in class.
 
1. You are the first teacher of your child. Spend time with your child everyday.Talk to them about something they learned at school.

2. Talk to your child. Ask questions, listen to what they have to say and encourage responses.

3. Be sure your children do their homework.

4. Spend 20 minutes daily to read with your child. Ask questions in English and Spanish.

5. Encourage your child to visit the library regularly.

6. Be sure your child get enough sleep. Children who do not sleep well can not learn.

7. Be sure to start each day with a good breakfast.

8. Limit the time your children watch television and play video games; instead, speak, read and play with them.

9. Praise your children for their efforts.

10. Cooperate with us to help the success of their child.

1. Usted es el primer maestro de sus hijos. Dedique tiempo a sus hijos. Converse con ellos sobre algo que aprendieron en la escuela.

2. Hable con sus hijos. Hágale preguntas, escuche lo que ellos tengan que decir y estimule sus respuestas.

3. Este seguro que sus hijos hagan sus tareas.

4. Dedique 20 minutos diariamente para leer con sus hijos. Hágale preguntas en Inglés y Español.

5. Estimule a sus hijos que visiten la biblioteca regularmente.

6. Este seguro que sus hijos duerman suficientemente. Los niños que no duermen bien no pueden aprender.

7. Asegurense que comienze cada día con un buen desayuno. 

8. Limite el tiempo que sus hijos ven la televisión y jugan con los videojuegos, en lugar, hable, lea y juegue con ellos. 

9. Elogie a su hijos por sus esfuerzos.

10. Coopere con nosotros para poder ayudar al buen éxito de sus hijos.
