     In Harry L. Bain Elementary School's technology classes students learn a variety of technology skills. Students from kindergarten through sixth grades attend computer class once a week for 40 minutes. Projects are geared to teach students how to manuever the internet, research information, Google Drive/Classroom, and internet safety/ettiquette.

 

West New York schools implemented the use of  additional technology throughout the day in classrooms with Google Chrome books.  Our school has several Google Chrome book carts and students will be using these chromebooks throughtout the day in their classrooms.   

 

Througout the school year, students gain confidence in their abilities on the computer and publish assignments to post in school hallways and to show family and friends.  Harry L. Bain students are learning technology skills that will help them compete and succeed in the new world of technology.

Tinkercad Building/Design/3D Printing

Google Chrome - research and search Engines

Google Classroom and Google Drive

Creating Eportfolios in Google Sites
