Welcome to 4th Grade!!

I am so excited for this upcoming school year! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. There are so many new things to learn and new friends to be made!

 

I will be your child's Math teacher. They will see Mrs. Diaz for Language Arts and Mrs. Arenas for Science, Social Studies and Health.

 

My goal this year will be to help your child be an independent and responsible learner. To reach this goal, the students will learn to make the most use out of our class time. My expectations of the students will be high. They will need to work hard, stay focused, ask questions, and do their best.

 

Please be sure to check Google Classroom daily!

 

Student homework is moslty unfinished classwork. There will also be reviews before tests and assignments on any difficult topics we encounter in the curriculum. Homework is due the following day unless indicated. We will take daily Quick Checks and weekly assessments to assess understanding. 

 

Make sure to work on BASIC FACTS!!!
