Welcome to 4th grade!
This is going to be a great year for you and your child. My goal is to teach your child to become an expert reader so they can apply the reading skills to every subject.
It is my desire that our classroom be a safe and comfortable environment that will promote learning and positivity.
Our rules are the following: show respect to others, show responsibility, participate in class discussion, and participate in class activities. Rewards for individual behavior include praise, Denham dollars, and treats. If you would like to donate treats you are welcome to do so. Rewards for group behavior include getting marbles in the jar (each time the jar is filled they receive a party). Please let me know what your child is allergic to or may not have. Consequences for inappropriate behavior is school wide and may be found in the handbook.
Your child’s success is of utmost importance to me. I believe that communication is the key, so please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or call the school (665-5855). Another great resource is the REMIND app. The best way to stay informed of what we are doing in class is through google classroom.
