Attendance:
Your child’s regular and prompt attendance at school is crucial to his/her success.  I can’t emphasize this point enough! Most kindergarten learning activities are group oriented and involve interaction with classmates.  Therefore, it is next to impossible to make up work at home.  Please view school as a priority, and see to it that your child attends everyday except in cases of illness or emergency.  If your child is going to be absent please inform the school.

Grades:
The grading scale is as follows:
A= 100 - 93
B =  92 – 86      
C = 85 - 78         
D = 70 – 77    
F = 69 and below
 

Field Trips:
Field trips are a way to learn outside the classroom. This year we will go on field trips once a month.  Notices will be sent home a few weeks in advance.  Please send your child's permission slip and money in an envelope with their name, teacher and amount.

Snacks:
Every month each student will have the oppotunity to bring snack to share with their classmates.  A monthly snack calendar will be sent home letting you know what day your child should bring snack.  Please send snacks that are already pre-packaged.
