Hi. My name is Michelle Vona.

 

This is my fourth year teaching at DSHS, but it is my 24th year teaching. I have taught everything from 7th to 12th grade and even taught a year in Georgia!

 

I graduated from DSHS (GEAUX Jackets!) and LSU (GEAUX Tigers!)! 

 

I love family, coffee, football...although not always in that order! 

 

I'm infatuated with everything Disney, and I travel (not just to Disney, but everywhere!) whenever I possibly can!

 

I have been married since 1998 and have a daughter who is a 2021 DSHS graduate & is particiating in the Disney College Program and a son who is a DSHS senior this year.

 

My all-time favorite poem is "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost.
