The English Department has established the following policy:

2. As student who has missed a test or other work has one week to make it up.
3. In the case of an extended absence (4+ days), the teacher and the student will work out a reasonable time by which the work must be completed.
4. English tests will be made up after school in the make-up room from 2:40-3:30.
5. Essays and projects are long-term assignments that are generally given several days to complete. If a student is absent on the due date, the essay or the project must be turned in on the day the student returns to school.
