I have been married to my husband, Isaac Ricketts, for 13 years.  We have three amazing boys, Ian (10), Briar (8), and Jayden (4).  

 

I attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.  I then worked in the manufacturing field for a while before realizing I wanted to do something more meaningful. 

I began taking classes toward an alternate certification in education from Louisiana College.  I completed my alternate certification in May of 2009.  

 

I have taught middle school science at Brame Middle School for 6 years. This will be my third year at Buckeye High School, and I am hoping to make the best year yet for both myself and my students.
