COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND RULES
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Students must bring the following items to class every day:
- Textbook - Provided in Class
- Pencils
- Calculator (provided)
- Chromebook
TEXTBOOK
There is a classroom set of textbooks that students may use during class. Students will be given access to the on-line version of the Textbook to be used with their Chomebook computer either in school or at home. Students may use this when completing in-class and homework assignments.
Pencil or Pen:
Please bring something to write with everyday.
ATTENDANCE
Good attendance is necessary in order to understand the lessons that are being taught. It is the students responsibility to obtain any assignments, notes, and homework that that have missed when absent from class. Any missed work such as a test or quiz is expected to made up upon returing to class.
LATE FOR CLASS:
All students are expected to be in class on time. If a student is continually late to class a discipline report will be written.
CUTTING
For students who cut class, a cut form will be submitted. If you do not have a pass stating why you were not in class, you will receive a zero for the day.
EXTRA HELP
Math tutorials are available during Zero Period and during Lunch periods. Students who are looking for extra help should report to the appropriate room. Also, I will be available for extra help before homeroom. Please let me know if you need additional help.
CLASS RULES
- Bring a positive attitude.
- Respect your fellow classmates and teacher at all times.
- Arrive on time for class.
- Be prepared.
CALCULATOR
Students will be provided with a graphing calculator that can be used in class. Also, students can use the Desmos Graphing Calculator App located on their Chromebook.
CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The school policy on the usage of cell phones or other electronic devices will be strictly enforced.
UNIFORMS
The school policy for uniforms will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with the uniform policy will result in a dress code violation.
