My name is Demetrise Charles. I am a Certified Math Teacher of Grades 6 - 12 with 30 years of successful teaching experience. This is my 19th year of teaching in St. John the Baptist Parish Schools and my 7th year working as an Instructional Leader. This year I will be coaching and supporting GMMS teachers in Kindergarten through 8th grade as a Mentor Teacher, supporting GMMS students in 3rd through 8th grade as a Math Interventionist, and also teaching 8th grade math. I am very passionate about teaching and learning, and I will work hard to instill this love for learning in our teachers and students.
