Hello! My name is Catherine McConathey. I live in Pennsville, NJ and have two sons; Andrew, who graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and is now a pilot and lives in Indianapolis, IN and Eric, who graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia and majored in Psychology and is now a graduate student at Fordham University in NYC and received his Ph.d in Clinical Psychology. Eric lives in Brooklyn, NY. Our family believes that between our faith and education, we can make all things possible! I have completed my undergrad studies at Salem Community College (graduated with an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts with honors) and Rowan University (graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Sociology, Magna Cum Laude). In May of 2015, I graduated from Rowan University (Summa Cum Laude) with a Masters degree in Reading from the College of Education. I am now a Reading Specialist in addition to a state of NJ licensed K-8 teacher.  I have been teaching third grade at Salem Middle School since 2005 and take pride in my love and respect for the school and students including the community of Salem.  Reading is my passion as well as making sure it becomes that of my students and they ultimately become lifelong lovers of reading!
