Hello! My name is Catherine McConathey. I live in Pennsville, NJ and have two sons; Andrew, who graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and is now a pilot with American Airlines and lives in Port St. Lucie, FL. Eric, graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia and majored in Psychology and then graduated from Fordham University in NYC and received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Eric McConathey lives in Philadelphia, PA and works at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a Neuropsychologist. Our family believes that between our faith and education, we can make all things possible! I have completed my undergrad studies at Salem Community College (graduated with an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts with honors) and Rowan University (graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Sociology, Magna Cum Laude). In May of 2015, I graduated from Rowan University (Summa Cum Laude) with a Masters degree in Reading Education from the College of Education. I am now a Reading Specialist in addition to a state of NJ licensed K-8 teacher.  I have been teaching at Salem Middle School since 2005 and take pride in my love and respect for the school and students including the community of Salem.  Reading is my passion as well as making sure it becomes that of my students and they ultimately become lifelong lovers of reading!
