CLASSROOM EXPECTED BEHAVIORS

Students who follow rules and behave appropriately will receive rewards:
verbal praise, tiger paws, stickers, positive notes, special treats.
  
  
Promote RESPECT

Respect personal space and school property

Use kind words and classroom voices

Use words of respect (Thank you, Please, etc.)

Actively Listen while other people speak

Raise hand and wait to be recognized

 

  

Practice RESPONSIBILITY

         Be prepared (supplies, homework, books, etc.)
Follow directions
Keep your area/desk clean
Complete class and homework assignments
 
   
Stay SAFE
   Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
    Sit properly in seat
    Use school supplies appropriately
    Keep school/personal belongings out of walking areas
 
   HOMEWORK
Math and Reading homework can be expected nightly. Spelling and Language homework can also be expected most nights. The work should be easily completed independently by the student.
At times, unfinished work from class will be sent home due to behavior in class. 
  
If homework assignment(s) are missing, left at home, or incomplete, students will lower their conduct and get a Homework Referral, as per school policy.  The student is responsible for completing incomplete homework on their time or at home.
