Homework Policy

The students will be assigned homework every night Monday-Thursday.  Students copy their homework off of the board.  Please check your child's planner to view each night's homework and important information.
Each night homework will include 3 things:

1) Math - A follow-up assignment to the lesson taught during the day.  

2) Reading -  It is suggested students read 20+ minutes per night.  

3) An additional assignment - 1 of the following:
writing, word study, cursive, or social studies/science.

Homework will be checked and graded as follows:
Check + = Outstanding job!  Exceeds expectations.
Check    =  Good job! Meets expectations.
Check - = Needs improvement, does not meet expectations.
