Hello and Welcome!!!!
We are so happy to start Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year!!! Most supplies were purchased by the Board of Education. However, your child will need a backpack (no rolling) and lunch box/bag labeled with his/her full name.
Please send your child in with a healthy/nutritional snack as we will have a snack on a daily basis. The first week of school we will have a morning snack AND afternoon snack. Please make sure snacks are labeled as we would like to avoid any confusion between lunches and snacks.

Whether you are choosing to use this service or not, payments can be made to your child’s account by sending in a CHECK in a sealed and labeled envelope. NO CASH PLEASE!
If your child is ordering lunch, it is helpful to let us know what is being ordered by sending a note in his /her folder until a routine is established. Please let your child know if he/she is buying lunch as lunch orders are taken in the morning. Please make sure all lunch payments are labeled with your child’s full name in a sealed envelope.
Drop off (8:15-8:25am) and pick up (3:20pm) is by the Board of Education doors. On half days, 12:30 dismissal, pick up is by the gym doors, to the right of the Board of Education doors. If you are late dropping off or picking up your child, please go to the Main Office.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled, exciting year of learning new math skills, how to read and write, and engaging in seasonal arts and crafts projects.

¡Estamos muy contentos de comenzar el kínder para el año escolar 2025-2026! La mayoría de los útiles fueron adquiridos por la Junta de Educación. Sin embargo, su hijo/a necesitará una mochila (sin ruedas) y una lonchera/bolsa con su nombre.
Por favor, envíe a su hijo/a con un refrigerio saludable y nutritivo, ya que tendremos uno a diario. La primera semana de clases tendremos un refrigerio por la mañana y otro por la tarde. Por favor, asegúrese de que los refrigerios estén etiquetados, ya que queremos evitar confusiones entre almuerzos y refrigerios.
Si su hijo/a pide almuerzo en cualquier momento del año, cree una cuenta a través de "Mi hora de comida" en el sitio web de la Escuela Canfield Avenue:

Independientemente de si utiliza este servicio o no, puede realizar pagos a la cuenta de su hijo/a enviando un cheque en un sobre sellado y etiquetado. ¡NO SE ACEPTA EFECTIVO!
Si su hijo/a pide almuerzo, le recomendamos que nos avise de qué ordena enviando una nota en su carpeta hasta que se establezca una rutina. Por favor, avísele si va a comprar almuerzo, ya que los pedidos se toman por la mañana. Asegúrese de que todos los pagos del almuerzo estén etiquetados con el nombre de su hijo/a en un sobre cerrado.
La entrega (8:15-8:25 a. m.) y la recogida (3:20 p. m.) se realizan junto a las puertas de la Junta de Educación. Los días de media jornada, con salida a las 12:30, la recogida se realiza junto a las puertas del gimnasio, a la derecha de las puertas de la Junta de Educación. Esperamos un año lleno de diversión y emoción, aprendiendo nuevas habilidades matemáticas, a leer y escribir, y participando en proyectos de arte y manualidades de temporada.
