REPORTING YOUR CHILD'S ABSENCE

If your child is going to be late to school, dismissed early or absent for any reason, please notify Crim School via the online absence reporting form in PowerSchool ParentPortal by 8:00am that morning.

Changes in dismissal must also be entered via the online reporting form in PowerSchool - this helps alleviate any confusion with last minute calls at end of the school day and ensures main office staff are aware of where students are to report to during dismissal. Student safety is of the utmost importance.

LUNCH

Lunch is served every day, including shortened session days. Students may either bring lunch from home or purchase lunch from our cafeteria. Please click on the following link from Maschio’s Food Services for more information regarding:

  • Free-Reduced Lunch

  • MySchoolBucks

  • Menu

  • Price Lists

If you have any questions, please contact the BRRSD cafeteria manager at [email protected].

All first grade students will have recess and lunch from 10:50 to 11:30. Please make sure your child knows if they will be bringing lunch or buying in the morning before they come to school. They will need to know this every morning when I take lunch count. I will send home monthly lunch calendars starting on the first day of school.

SNACK

Please send your child each day with:

  • A peanut/tree nut–free snack for the afternoon.

  • A water bottle labeled with their name (they may refill it in the cafeteria).

⚠️ Afternoon snacks cannot be purchased from the cafeteria, and I am unable to provide snacks. All snacks must always be peanut/tree nut free.Lunch does not need to be nut free, since students eat in the cafeteria where there is a designated nut-free table. Snack time will be around 1:30 p.m. each day. To help your child keep their meals organized, please pack lunch and snack separately so they don’t eat their snack at lunchtime. 🙂
