Dear Guardians:
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tami Watson. I have 29 years of teaching experience, earned a Masters Degree from Wilmington College and 15 doctoral credits from Rowan University. I come from a family of educators. My mother retired from the Camden City School District after 35 years and my sister is also a veteran teacher in North Jersey. Besides my education and teaching experience, I want you to know my philosophy of teaching students.
- I believe all students can learn but, not the same day or the same way.
- I believe students deserve respect.
- I believe my job is to teach until a student learns.
- I want your child to enjoy the learning process, and I want to help them develop their own motivaton for learning. I hope to do my best to encourage your student to succeed in their attemps to learn.
- I believe modeling is the most powerful way to affect a student's learning. Please model the love of learning at home by reading to and in front of your child. In addition, set aside a quiet, well lit area with adequate space and supplies for your child to study. The study area should be in a place not far from the rest of the family.
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have this year. Our school number is 856-966-6267. Please leave a message with our school personnel and I will return your call at my earliest convenience.
I am looking forward to an exciting and challenging year !
Children First,
Ms. Watson
