We love to celebrate birthdays in Kindergarten!
Birthdays are certainly something to celebrate! The special birthday child is welcome to bring in their favorite book to share with the class and can also bring in a special stuffed animal to snuggle with on their birthday. We also welcome the birthday child to have a family member come in to read or come in to do a craft with the class on their birthday. Please do NOT send in birthday food/treats. Also, please do not send in birthday party invitations. Use the addresses families provided in the Class Information List that was sent home in September.
Students will be honored on their special day with a banner hanging for all to see, plus a card from the teacher and a birthday sticker.
Students with a summer birthday will have the opportunity to celebrate during the month of June.
