  • Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) provides public funding for services and supports that assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities age 21 and older to live as independently as possible.  Services and supports are available in the community from independent providers, and in five state-run developmental centers.  

 

  • Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVR)The New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) provides a wide range of individualized services to assist persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and/or maintain employment consistent with their strengths, priorities, needs, abilities, and capabilities.  Specific services are offered based on individual need. Services include vocational assessment, counseling and guidance, job placement assistance, education and vocational training, and other services as required to assist the individual to achieve employment. Transportation assistance is available for eligible consumers who are receiving Vocational Rehabilitation services.  There are various field office locations throughout the statee.
