The environment is constantly in the news. Pick a news story relating to the environment that interests you. Write a letter to the editor indicating what you feel is the appropriate action for citizens and the government to take in response to this news event. Use Google and other resources (other internet sites, newspapers, magazines, scientific journals, etc.) to provide an educated recommendation. Limit your response to two double-spaced, typed pages. Include the websites used as your sources.  This assignment is being graded as an enrichment assignment

 * All work can be submitted to [email protected].  If you are unable to print or write on a document, you may take a picture of your answers and send it to the above email.  If worse comes to worse and you can not print, write or email your answer key to me, please hold on to all completed work until we get back to school

** All assignments are available on-line and in print.  If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, please make arrangements to pick up your work packet.  More information on when and where this can be done will be posted shortly.
