Spelling words are posted here each week. On Monday, the students will be introduced to the spelling words and meanings. Word meaning activities and the Phonics skill of the week will be practiced throughout the week. Written Spelling Homework will not be assigned each night. Students will receive a homework worksheet assignment on Tuesday to be completed by Friday. It is the student's responsibility to study the words each night. You may choose to do this in any way that best meets the student's needs (spelling aloud, writing them down, spelling games, Spelling City: http://www.spellingcity.com/emadkins/
Spelling tests are given on Fridays.
