My name is Kerry Jameson and I am a math teacher at Memorial High School. I am a graduate of New Jersey City University, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Saint Peter’s University. This academic year, 2023 - 2024, is the start of my twenty-fourth year as a teacher at MHS. I am also entering my twelfth year as District Intramural Coordinator.
As my student, you can expect to be educated, challenged, and greeted with a smile. I expect students to:
- BE ON TIME
- BE PREPARED
- FOLLOW SCHOOL POLICIES
Students' grades will be based on, but not limited to:
- assessments (tests, quizzes - higher percentages of grade)
- classwork (assignments will be given weekly/daily and need to be submitted for completion)
- class participation
- projects (when applicable)
- vocabulary notebook (where applicable)
- extra credit/zeros/miscellaneous
Percentages are subject to change at any time.
Students seeking additional help with the content should email me to discuss options.
I am looking forward to another great year. We will face some challenges along the way, but if you work hard and do your best, we will get through them - this is my promise to you.
