1) Get to class on time! Wear your uniform (no jeans) and ID every day!
2) Respect the teacher and your classmates!
3) Keep quiet and raise your hand to answer questions and pay attention in class.
4) If there are visitors in the classroom, do not embarrass me by talking or being loud.
5) Come prepared! Bring required materials to class every day (binder, pencil, and eraser).
6) Book is online at https://www.hmhco.com/ui/#/dashboard.
7) Classroom readiness counts as a quiz grade (not being ready, being disruptive, etc. lowers grade).
8) Homework will be assigned every day (including Fridays). It will be checked and you must show work.
9) Homework counts as a quiz grade (lose points for partial work or no work).
10) It is your responsibility, not mine, to make up missed homework, quizzes, and tests.
11) Quizzes are open-notes so take good notes and write everything down; quizzes count once.
12) Tests are closed-notes; they count twice.
13) For final grade, MP1 through MP4 grades count 22% each; final exam counts 12%.
14) Course starts easy but gets hard. Don’t slack off or it may be too late later on.
15) Please, do not cut the class because you will lose points off your marking period grade every time you do.
16) I’m here to help you pass this class! Available every morning from 7:10 to 7:30 am for extra help.
