Computer Graphics 

 

 

Research Project is  10% of the Third Marking Period grade. The research is due on  3/6/2020

 

 

1. Artist’s life:

 

• The date and the place the artist was born.
• Describe how and when the artist started to get interested in art
• List the art movements that the artist joined.

 

2. Artist’s career:

 

The subjects of his/her paintings

 

• How did the artist use elements of art (line, shape, form, space, texture, colors, and value)?
• List three significant facts that you have learned about the artist.

 

3. Artwork Critique

 

• Choose one of  Piet Mondrian’s artworks to critique in four steps (description, analyzing, interpretation, and judgment) one paragraph for each step.

 

• Under the artwork you will list:
  1. Name of the artist(date of birth-date of death)
  2. The title of the painting (the year/ years it was painted)
  3. Medium and Size of the painting
  4. Place of the painting

 

The research is Minimum of two pages. Create a google Document and share it with the teacher by the due date
