Students have an interactive reader book at home which they can use to study by. They also have notes from class, vocabualry definitions, and any other assignments, activities, or handouts, and bell work  to use as study tools.

Concepts we are studying:

Chapter 15: Waves

**identify the parts and investigate the properties of transverse waves
*compare the properties of waves in the electromagnetic spectrum
*describe the relationship between wavelength and frequency
*describe the doppler effect in sound

*What does a wave carry?

*How are waves generated?

*What is the difference between a transverse wave and a longitudinal wave?

*What are some ways to measure and compare waves?

*How do waves behave when they hit boundaries, pass an edge or opening, and when they pass from one medium to another?

*What happens when two or more waves are in one location?
