Welcome Back to School
Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome you and your child to a new school year at Independendce High School. My name is Sandra Moran, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. I am looking forward to meeting you and working with your child this year.
As your child begins his/her school year, you must realize that standards are high in Algebra I in order to ensure that your child is adequately prepared for the EOC test (LEAP 2025). To have a clear idea of what the expectations are this year, please read over the policies and procedures that were passed out in class. Also, please visit the Oncourse website regularly to check your child's grades and to see what your child is learning.
