Advanced Math/Pre Cal:

 

This is a rigorous course that includes instruction in trigonometry, analytic geometry, matrices, probability, the theory of equations, linear and nonlinear functions, sequences, series, and an introduction to limits.  Students must demonstrate their grasp of essential concepts through their interaction with each other.  Challenge problems, calculator labs, video presentations, and group work extend and expand text material and provide opportunities for students to communicate mathematical understanding.
