I am a highly qualified art teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with my area of concentration in Secondary Art Education.
I am entering my 20th year of teaching art, having transferred from Ponchatoula Junior High School to Hammond High Magnet School as of the summer of 2014.
I have taken many drawing, painting, and design courses in college, in addition to a bit of metalworking and sculpture. I enjoy playing video games or board games with my husband in my spare time. We have two cats and one dog. I love reading to my 5 year old son, writing, and reflecting, and I enjoy using computers! My strongest learner profile trait is "thinker." My mother is a retired teacher and I believe that I take after her skills in educating students.
