I am a graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University with my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiolgy. I received my Early Childhood teaching certification from the Teach Lousiana Consortium in 2006. This will be my eleventh year to teach. My first year I taught kindergarten in East Baton Rouge Parish, then began here at Gray's Creek Elementary. I taught the Early Childhood Speical Education Class for three years, then had the pleasure of teaching first grade. This year will be my 11th year in kindergarten.
I am married to a wonderful man and we have two beautiful little girls. Madeline Grace is fifteen years old and Morgan Elise is twelve years old. Madeline is a 10th grader and a future pediatrican. Morgan is my little miracle. She was diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome (Trisomy 18) at birth and has beaten the odds for twelve years. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my husband and our children. I enjoy teaching kindergarten and I am excited to be teaching your child this year.
