GRADING FORMAT FOR MRS. ERVIN'S

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS

HOMEBOUND/PHYSICAL EDUCATION MEDICALS: Any student who is physically unable to participate in Physical Education Class will be receiving a letter grade. This grade will be calculated based on the written assignments and projects that can be accessed through their physical education teacher's website. All assignments must be completed within a week of medical note. (homebound assignments will be due by the end of each marking period & PE Medical assignments are due based on the number of days out on medical.) Failure to complete these requirements will result in an unsatisfactory grade. **ASSIGNMENTS CAN BE FOUND ON THE LINK BELOW OR IN THE HIGH SCHOOL MEDIA CENTER.**

Many students would like to receive an A+. The following criteria is needed to met for an A+:

Excellent Attendance Record

Be on time everyday

Change into the recommended dress code everyday

Do all the pre-activity warm-ups

Participate the entire class period

Remove all jewelry prior to class

Follow the specific rules or the activity/game

Play to the best of your ability

Display good sportsmanship at all times

Help set-up/break-down equipment when asked

Don't leave class or the field until dismissed by the teacher

No Behavioral issues addressed to date.

High % on written test/quiz/samples and skill evaluations.

When one of the above is not met, points will be deducted accordingly. I am looking forward to having an excellent year with each of you!
